Product Description Compact (pocket sized), high-intensity incandescent flashlight for tactical, self-defense, and general use. Similar to our 6P but with a tough polymer body. Puts out a smooth, brilliant, pre-focused, tactical-level beam with over three times the light of a big two-D-cell flashlightbright enough to temporarily blind and disorient a person by impairing his night-adapted vision. Light output may be nearly doubled with optional P61 lamp. Small size, light weight, and high output make it a perfect for camping, backpacking, emergency/disaster-preparedness kits, or everyday carry.

Surefire G2 December 22, 2008 E. Celona Flashlight is great as described. Being in law enforcement, you must purchase alot of items for your uniform. This is a great addition at a bargain price. It was promptly shipped and a very small and compact flashlight. A+++++

Best light for the price September 18, 2007 William Honchell (Clarks Summit, PA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Yes I know that $20+ is alot to ask for a flashlight. But it's worth it! I do alot of technical theater work, building sets, hanging lights, crawling into small, dark places. My Maglight couldn't keep up with me, and after much groaning I bought a G2. It's at least 5 times brighter than my old AA powered maglight, and it powered by lithium batt's. My only word of caution is that the front bulb housing gets HOT when you have it on for a while. Also if you want to get decent accesories for it (Filters, pouches) go to the main website.
