Good X'mas gadget! December 17, 2007 S.C. 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is by far the best tv tuner I have ever tried. The picture quality is also quite good. Surprisingly this tuner relieves the stress most USB tv tuners placed on the computer itself. I can just watch tv while using other programs, all without bogging down my computer. The only con is the reception of attached antenna is not very stable. Other than this, I really like this tuner and am thinking to buy another one as X'mas gift for my bro...this tuner truly can't be beat.
Neat and Affordable to dorm students October 27, 2007 P. Lee (E. Lansing, MI USA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
My nephew went to Michigan State Univ. as a freshman in this Sept. He has to live in dorm with 7 roommates. It is almost impossible for him to keep his hobby to watch TV on the bed and to record his favorite TV programs for film editing. In order to encourage him to study hard and to keep his happy life, I bought the AVerTV Hybrid Ultra USB for him. He is very happy and enjoys his school life with his notebook with MCE now. He even told me that he's planning to study in multimedia broadcasting related subject in the future. I'm very glad to give him such an useful gift.
