poor design of the hooks. They bend very easy and cracked my kindle. Make sure when you purchase a cover, don't buy one with hooks. Need better improvement poor quality

I like this cover. It's what my husband bought for me when he bought the Kindle for me for Christmas. The cover looks nice and works quite well. However, I dropped my Kindle while carrying too much from my car to my house and the screen on my Kindle broke. Since my Kindle is only 3 months old, it is still covered under the warranty (thank GOODNESS!). And Amazon is replacing it for me. Customer service is EXCELLENT. They were very nice. I thought I would have to buy a new one since I dropped it. I am now in a search of a more padded, protective case. As I said, this IS a nice, attractive case. But, it did NOT protect my Kindle from a fall as I expected it to.

The cover not only protects my Kindle when I tote it around, it gives the appearance and feel of a book. I haven't
had a reason to remove the cover yet, but was warned to follow the directions and slide and twist to remove it or
I could crack the Kindles' casing. It holds the kindle securely and I love it!

Bought the Kindle for my wife for Chrismas 2009. She reads CONSTANTLY, and books were hurting her fingers from holding them open. She loves the Kindle, and loves the cover as well. It fits perfectly and protects the Kindle when it's not in use. It doesn't get in the way when she reads. A good, inexpensive investment to keep the bigger investment safe!
