Product Description
Patent Pending Design!! This solid aluminum pedal can be installed in less than 5 minutes using only a few basic hand tools, no drilling required like the repair pedal, only tools required are a hammer, Phillips screwdriver & pliers. Allen key, knock out pin (for removing hinge pin), & instructions included!! Solid 6061 aluminum replacement pedal, manufactured by Unique Specialties in the U.S.A. on our CNC machines. This is a direct replacement for the black plastic pedal that breaks very easily. Unbreakable (lifetime warranty) & 14 day return policy if you are not satisfied. Padded foam rubber pedal pads great when playing with bare feet or socks (so your feet won't slip off the pedal and for added comfort). Heavier pedal has more realistic feel and response. No need to box the whole set up and take in for more replacement. This pedal is for the older style pedal with the orange tab; please see the pictures.

Worth the money November 17, 2008 T. Obermark My Rock Band pedal broke just like everyone elses. I guess could have waited for the RB2 drum kit to come out, but chose not to. This pedal is great. Well engineer, indestructable, and easy to install. Just make sure you buy the right one. Cons: It is on the pricey side. But this is the last pedal you will ever buy.
This replacement pedal is a dream come true. July 10, 2008 Brandon Corrier (Knoxville, TN USA) This Rock Band Bass Drum Replacement Pedal is a great replacement for your stock pedal. I was playing on a broken stock pedal held together with duct tape for 3 1/2 months. I got the replacement pedal in the mail yesterday. It came in perfect condition. The pedal comes with an allen wrench and a knockout pin as well. The entire process took roughly 5 minutes to assemble. The step that took the longest was reinstalling the pin into the pedal. It was just a bit tricky to get it lined up. Once you do get it lined up and get the pin back in, the pedal works like a charm. The foam padding is a big help, I play Rock Band barefoot, so the foam keeps your feet from slipping off. The pedal does feel heavier and more realistic. The pedal is thick and since it's made of aluminum, I can't think of anyway this could EVER break. I was getting better high scores on pretty much every song I played on expert. I was even gold starring some songs. Don't go with a plate, get a whole new pedal. You can't go wrong with this. It's well worth the money.
Solid Bass Pedal Replacement June 18, 2008 Matt Doyle When my bass pedal snapped in half and I found out EA would not replace it for free, they actually referred me to Amazon (can you believe that?). I decided to go with this pedal replacement instead of a reinforcement plate and am glad I made this decision. The pedal is very solid and sturdy; as it should be since it is pure aluminum. Installation was actually very simple, and except for the removal of the rubber bumpers from the original pedal it only took about 2 minutes. They suggest to take the bumpers off with pliers, but I had to use a flathead screwdriver to pry around the edges and bottom to pull them out because they were glued in pretty good. For me, this was the longest part of the installation. They also did not stay put in the holes of the new pedal, which I initially thought would be a problem, so I spent about 10 minutes looking for different types of glue that might secure them, only to realize that they are secured in place after the orange piece is screwed to the new pedal on top of them, so this is probably not an issue. The foam pads on the top of the pedal are nice because it would not be comfortable to play without shoes on bare aluminum. I found that it also kept my foot from sliding around on the pedal, which ensures a solid hit each time. When I am playing it feels slightly more authentic and much more stable; since it is a bit heavier I haven't noticed it "bounce" off the receiver at all when I push it hard, like it used to do with the original pedal. Overall, this is a very solid bass pedal replacement. If your pedal has not broken yet you might be able to keep it that way with a reinforcement plate, but if it is already broken (which if you play above easy, eventually it will) then I would definitely suggest this pedal. It installed quickly, looks nice, and plays much better than the original. Unfortunately though, it had not improved my ability to play "Blackened" :-P
