This unit makes an excellent replacement for any version of broken Xbox 360 console or a nice starting point to build a complete Xbox 360 system around. The bezel (DVD door) may be silver as pictured or white. Power cord (brick), HD / AV cords, controller, hard drive, memory unit, instructions and game are NOT included. Console does NOT ship in original package and does not have HDMI output.

Xbox 360 is a marvelous gaming system that allows you to play video games, store music, shop online, and watch movies. This system can be used for an elaborate number of activities. My Xbox is covered with decals that I bought online just to add a little character to my console. I have played every variety of game that the Xbox offers. The console offers games that range from RPGs to Sporting games. The choice of game is extremely diverse and allows for users of all ages to enjoy game play. My personal favorite game on the console is Assain's Creed made by Ubisoft. In this game you are a assassin in the middle ages and roam from kingdom to kingdom on horseback as you seek to destroy the enemies of your creed. Your character can run through very realistic life like ancient cities such as Jerusalem and climb any building that you want. The game play is insane and just shows how versatile the Xbox system is. Xbox 360 is Xbox live compatablie which allows you to play your favorite games vs your friends anywhere in the world. My favoritie part of the console is the ability to play your own music while playing a video game. The music shuts off during cut scenes and does not drown out the volume of the game. My personal music library on the console is over 1500 songs organized much like in iTunes; by artist, song, album, & genre. The Xbox is the perfect gift for the young at heart of all ages and is a must for the hardcore gamers. Also available is the Xbox 360 elite which allows the owner more hard drive space to store music or downloadable demos from Xbox market place of Xbox live.

Although this is a great product, it will more than likely fail due to a hardware malfunction. Three quadrants of the four on the console will flash red after 6-12 months causing a complete failure of the console to function. What to do:
A) Purchase an extended warranty through your chosen retail outlet.
B) X-BOX provides a free extended warranty beyond the regular 12 month manufacture's warranty to cover such an issue.
A) You get an exchange console on the spot at wherever you purchased the unit in the first place.
B)This means that you will have to send your console out to be "fixed" and about 2 weeks later a new one will arrive.
Being on my THIRD console due to the same problem is very frustrating to me and X-Box live support will not offer anything to maintain customer satisfaction other than the usual send it out and 2 weeks later a new console arrives deal.
Buyer Beware...great games, great online play, awful hardware.

Item worked like it was brand new. Had it for about 2 months now and have not had one problem.It got here early just like i like it.

I just purchased my first game console because GTA 4 did not come out for the PC.I chose the XBOX 360 with 20GB hard drive and wireless controller.It was a great choice.I hooked it up to the new HD TV I bought to go with it using a 360 HDMI cable.The first thing I noticed was the fantastic graphics.The next thing I noticed was how much harder using a JOY STICK is than a MOUSE.I have had it for 3 weeks,Tried 3 games on it.Love the XBOX 360 but hate using a JOY STICK.Anyone interested it is up for sale on Amazon with the HDMI cable thrown in under jakins.I am keeping the HD TV.

Just what I needed when my out of warranty Xbox 360 console died. I had everything else and just needed the console to get gaming again. Gamestop wouldn't sell me just the console and they insisted I buy the entire system again. Thank You Amazon!
