Good reinforcement, actually my son's pedal was broke in half and this plate fixed it right up! It was very easy to install and came with very clear and detailed instructions. Now he can rock out with his new bass pedal. AWESOME PRODUCT, MUST HAVE if you have a broken bass pedal! PS If your pedal isn't broken yet, beware, it will, better fix it now before it's too late!

Of course, my son broke the pedal AGAIN! We already got the side reinforcements from Pedal Metal and were well satisfied, because the cracks in the sides were fixed. The pedal itself broke in half and I was able to fix it for a while with epoxy, but this product seems like it will be a permanent fix. This package includes the flat pedal, a small piece that goes on the base, and a clear plastic hinge. The screws look like they need holes pre-drilled, but they don't -- they are self-tapping, so all you need is a phillips screwdriver and a center punch or line-up tool and a hammer to get the hinge pin out. The directions were clear, in color and complete, be sure and read them first!

The pedal seems to work well. The reinforced sides were necessary to buy also, as the side of my pedal was spliting. Both products came in a timely fashion and improved the overall function of the pedal.
