 Very Well Designed Headset October 19, 2008

The fact that this device was designed specifically for gaming was very apparent when this item arrived. The packaging was good and easy to get into. At first glance, it headset looked pretty slick and after only one hour of charging, I was able to put it to the test.
The headset is very comfortable and after hours of online gaming, I don't notice that I'm wearing it. The fact it sits on your ear and not in it is a real plus. Audio quality is good and I was able to hear just how bad other people's headsets are. My voice was coming through loud and clear in all the game rooms I tried it in (mostly in Burnout Paradise).
For $39.99, I would highly recommend this headset for all PS3 owners. It even looks better than Sony's headset.

This device is great and well worth the price.
First the packaging. Unlike most new devices or accessories I buy these days, this one came in a very simple to open package. It was not heat sealed in a thick plastic that seems to get sharper than the scissors you need to open it! For this all you had to do was remove two pieces of tape, lift two tabs and the main piece just slides right out. The earpiece is then secured with a twist tie that is very simply removed. This is a company that knows people actually like to use the things they buy!
Second is the included chargers. It does not use a standard USB connection to charge; however, they include a cable designed for plugging into a USB port. I use this PS3 Charge Station to charge my controllers and now my earpiece thanks to that cable.
Now the actual earpiece. It is very comfortable and sits well on the ear. The loop that goes around your ear is very soft and flexible.
As they say you will forget you are even wearing it. Or at least you would if it wasn't for the great sound quality. That little single speaker on the device is extremely clear. I have had no problems hearing people and no one has complained about being able to hear me.
This device allows for great communication while playing, so it does add another level of fun to gaming.

This unit sits outside of your ear, which is nice for people who like that setup. It is also loud enough so that when it sits outside of your ear, you can still hear the sound well. Music comes across very well, although speech is just a touch on the muddy side, but since the PS3 converts it to IP and compresses it anyway, there's no real loss. The microphone is great, however. People commented that I sounded much clearer on my blackberry.
The unit is also VERY light. It weighs almost nothing, so wearing it all day is comfortable. The ear clip also goes almost all the way around the ear, so it stays on well even though it doesn't go into the ear.
The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the speaker muddies up people's voices over a cell phone just a little bit compared to something like the Voyager. This is most likely due to the over-the-ear versus the in-the-ear design, so don't let it stop you from buying it. It is also a rather large earpiece, but it's so light that it isn't an issue, but if you're walking around with it, it won't exactly be hidden.
So if you want a very light, very inexpensive over-the-ear bluetooth headset, this is a great choice. The fact that is also works with the PS3 seamlessly is just a nice bonus.

They say it's by messiah but when i recieved it the box says giotech
and while i'm not sure if messiah changed names or was bought out i thought i'd let you know. Also it says for games-not phones and i was able to regester it to my phone fine. It's very comfortable for extended use even with glasses on. Being able to charge with usb or ac adaptor is great much
better than the jabra headset that came with warhawk.
Sound in the earpiece is great as well and i checked how i was coming through and on ps3 it was flawless while on my phone the person said had i not said anything they'd never have known i was on a headset!!
